Description
Experience 2½ hours of whitewater rafting on refreshing river waters that wind through tropical jungle. The rapids, named “Roller Coaster,” “Superman,” and “Air Force,” provide exciting challenges while the surrounding flora and fauna create an immersive natural setting. There are several safe spots to swim or leap from the riverbanks.
Your tour begins at the riverside Operation Center in Chilamte Sarapiqui, where you can park securely or arrange hotel pickup in Sarapiqui. After a brief 10-minute van ride to the river, certified guides will equip you with professional gear and provide instructions on safety commands and paddling techniques before starting the descent.
After the rafting adventure, enjoy a traditional hot lunch and a fresh tropical fruit buffet at the riverside facilities. Once finished, you can return to your hotel or continue exploring Sarapiqui.
