Description
Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or lodge in Kigoma, followed by a transfer to the Kabirizi ferry. After the ferry crossing, you will arrive at Gombe Stream National Park to start your chimpanzee trekking adventure.
Gombe Stream National Park is Tanzania's fourth-largest national park and offers a unique chance to explore its diverse wildlife and natural environment. Enjoy guided chimpanzee tracking through the forest, accompanied by experienced guides who share detailed knowledge about the chimpanzees and local ecosystem.
After trekking, you will have an authentic restaurant lunch. If time permits, continue walking in the forest to visit nearby attractions such as Kikombe Waterfall and Mkenge Waterfall. You can also hike Jane’s Peak for panoramic views over the Gombe forest. The day ends with a return transfer back to Kigoma town and your hotel.
