Description
Enjoy a different experience in Monteverde and discover how the forest changes when night falls. During this approximately two-hour night hike, you'll walk the trails of the Monteverde Wildlife Refuge accompanied by a professional naturalist guide.
With the help of a flashlight, you'll explore the forest in search of some of its most active species at night. You may find sloths, frogs, snakes, insects, and other creatures, as well as observe birds resting among the vegetation. Sightings are dependent on natural conditions and wildlife activity.
As you walk, you'll learn more about the cloud forest ecosystem, its biodiversity, and the adaptations that allow different species to survive in a nocturnal environment. The experience is for a small group of up to 8 participants, creating a quiet and personalized atmosphere to enjoy the nature of Monteverde.
