Description
After hotel pickup, board the aerial tram to ascend above the Monteverde Cloud Forest, stopping to observe local plants and animals. Your naturalist guide will explain the species and habitats you encounter.
At the first of two observatory platforms, take in panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and, weather permitting, the northern lowlands extending to the Caribbean.
Continue on foot across multiple suspension bridges, pausing to appreciate the cloud forest’s flora and fauna from high above the canopy.
Conclude the tour by zip lining through eight cables totaling nearly 1.8 miles (3 kilometers). Zip line lengths range from 131 to 2,460 feet (40 to 750 meters) with heights from 49 to 328 feet (15 to 100 meters).
You will be returned to your Monteverde hotel after the tour.
