Description

Begin your tour at Pangas Beach Club, where a local guide provides a safety briefing and kayaking instruction. No prior experience is necessary. Paddle for about 40 minutes through mangrove waterways while observing wildlife.

After kayaking, continue on a guided nature hike through forest trails. Learn about native plants like the 500-year-old pochote trees, dragon-fruit cactus, wild hibiscus, and the Guanacaste tree important to Indigenous cultures. The hike includes a visit to an ancient archaeological site with a viewpoint over the mangrove canopy, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife observation and photos.

Return to the kayaks for a relaxing paddle back. Refreshments are provided during the return journey. Tours are scheduled around the tides and typically start 60 to 90 minutes before high tide for optimal conditions. Exact start times will be confirmed after booking.
