Description
Your visit begins with an introduction from a trained naturalist guide explaining Proyecto Asis’s mission and work. Then, take a guided tour through the sanctuary grounds to meet each resident animal and learn their unique rescue stories.
Encounter a variety of native Costa Rican species including sloths, monkeys, and parrots. Your guide will explain the importance of conservation, proper ethical practices, and the positive impact your visit supports. The sanctuary works to protect vulnerable wildlife from habitat loss, poaching, and illegal wildlife trade.
