Description
This tour begins with hotel pick-up in the La Fortuna area, followed by a hike on trails surrounding Arenal Volcano. Arenal Volcano National Park hosts over 850 bird species including white-faced capuchin monkeys, jaguars, and deer.
After exploring the park, cool off with a swim in the natural pool at La Fortuna waterfall. Note that there are about 500 steps to access the pool, descending and climbing back up.
Next, enjoy a traditional Costa Rican Casado meal at a local restaurant.
The journey continues to Mistico Park where you will hike through secondary and primary rainforest on 15 suspension bridges of varying difficulty, offering a different perspective of the rainforest’s biodiversity.
