Description
This tour offers white water rafting and a canopy zipline experience in Sarapiqui, located in northeastern Costa Rica. The region features clear rivers, tropical forests, and local villages known for their hospitality and hardworking residents.
Departing from San José, the journey passes through Braulio Carrillo National Park before arriving in Sarapiqui. The day begins with a canopy tour through secondary forest, crossing nine zipline cables of varying lengths, including the final cable over the Sarapiqui River. The canopy tour lasts approximately 90 minutes.
After lunch, the tour continues with white water rafting on the Sarapiqui River. The river offers rapids ranging from class II to III over nine miles, interspersed with calm sections, creating a dynamic experience suitable for bird watchers, nature lovers, and thrill seekers. Alternatively, participants may choose a horseback riding tour instead of rafting.
