Description

The tour begins at 5:30 am with a 1.5-hour boat ride from the public pier in Puerto Jimenez. Witness the meeting of rainforest and ocean, and possibly spot marine wildlife such as turtles, dolphins, birds, and humpback whales along the way.

Upon arrival at Sirena, participants experience a wet landing on a rocky shore before registering at the Ranger Station. An expert guide leads a walking tour through the main trails near the station, focusing on unique wildlife sightings.

Expect to see monkeys, toucans, parrots, tapirs, crocodiles, and other native species. The trails are generally easy with some stream crossings; in the rainy season, trails can be muddy, adding extra challenge.
