The day begins with pickup from San Jose, Alajuela, or Heredia, followed by a visit to Sarchi to explore local arts and crafts, including the world’s largest ox cart recorded by the Guinness Book of World Records.
The tour continues toward La Fortuna, passing pineapple and plantain plantations, mango groves, and cattle ranches. Learn about Arenal Volcano, considered dormant until its 1968 eruption.
Next is a visit to Mistico Park, known for its dense biodiversity. Walk along hanging bridges among the treetops and enjoy lunch while observing surrounding plants and wildlife.
The day ends at Baldi Hot Springs Resort, where you can relax in mineral-rich thermal pools heated by the volcano. Afterward, the tour returns to San Jose.
