Description

Meet your guide at the shop and drive to the Bri-Bri reserve. Meet the family in their traditional house and watch as they demonstrate how they create tools from various natural materials available within the jungle.

Embark on a short tour around their garden, learning about medicinal plants, materials they would use for tools/instruments, and walking through the frog nursery. This is where you will get a chance to see the iconic red eye tree frog and various posion dart frogs. Continue to the traditional chocolate-making demonstration, which includes an explanation of the whole bean-to-bar process, and the opportunity to roll your sleeves up and get involved. Finish the visit by tasting/drinking your end product.

On the way back to Cahuita we will head to one of the nearby waterfalls. Enjoy some refreshing coconut water before a short 10-minute hike. Take some pics, take a dip, or simply relax. Finally, get dropped off back in Cahuita.
