Meet your guide at Las Tortugas Hotel in Playa Grande or take a water taxi from Tamarindo and get picked up at the end of the trail.
Set off on a canoe tour through the mangrove estuary between Playa Grande and Tamarindo. Glide quietly along calm jungle waterways for close, respectful wildlife encounters with American crocodiles, howler monkeys, iguanas, herons, egrets, kingfishers, and many other birds.
Led by a bilingual naturalist guide with over 20 years of experience in the area, this small-group tour focuses on safety, education, and relaxed nature watching rather than speed or crowds.
