Nomad Living Hotel
Costa Rica
Recensioner
Luxurious accommodation with large and excellent rooms, fully equipped kitchen and facilities. There’s a swimming pool to cool down in. Most people drive here but we opted for the more environmentally friendly option of public transport. Bus stop is nearby and we used a local taxi to take us to the crocodile safari and National Park. Even though this is an unmanned reception, cleaning staff were around to help us check in early. Reception staff are also available around the clock on WhatsApp and will provide entry codes for the gate and room. Wildlife is abundant and you can see many birds from the first floor of this hotel with a pair of binoculars. However, be warned that as the kitchen is in your room, you must be very hygienic or you’ll get an unwanted visitor. We foolishly left mango peelings in the kitchen bin overnight and the smell attracted a large cockroach. Although our room was on the first floor, it doesn’t stop cockroaches. So, make sure you empty the kitchen bin every night.
Nomad is really a beautiful hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable. But it is located in a really garbage neighborhood. Bring earplugs if you want a decent night's sleep. Motorcycles roaring up and down the street. Music cranked up until 3 am. You wonder if anyone actually sleeps around here.
Clean, modern, perfect to reset and work. Great patio to have dinner and a drink. You can do your laundry for free. The village is very cute, it’s a fishing village so don’t expect something touristic but we found it authentic and charming! Can buy amazing fresh fish to cook at your appartment 🙏
The room was good and had everything for comfortable stay. Kitchenette had plates, pans, oil, kettke, species ( they even added a mixer so you can make your own smoothie). But the moment you open the gate ( it's a gated property with tenants access through phone) you see poor people just watching at you and wonder what you are doing there and what so fancy about you. The area is not nice and pretty scathy. We went for a walk and it was a bad idea. The beach was full filled of fish bones of different sizes I pierced my leg several times despite wearing flips. In case you plan just stay at the hotel, cook your meal it's going to be good
Great place to stay for a few nights! Cute and modern courtyard, great security, and very affordable option. Area is close to beaches and attractions, and there are several convenience stores and great restaurants on the same block. Helens Ceviche was amazing, just a block away. Room had all the amenities you could ask for, including a full kitchenette that was well stocked, comfy bed and huge shower. Check in was super easy. Perfect location to stay while exploring the area.
