During a visit to our daughter who lives in Costa Rica, my wife and I had the pleasure of spending two unforgettable nights at Villa Caletas. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the breathtaking views over the Pacific Ocean, the lush tropical surroundings, and the unique architecture that gives this hotel so much character. The atmosphere is elegant, peaceful, and incredibly romantic. The infinity pool, the spectacular sunsets viewed from the amphitheater, and the beautifully maintained grounds made every moment special. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and offered stunning views that we will remember for a long time. What truly sets Villa Caletas apart is its exceptional service. Every member of the staff was welcoming, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay perfect. Without a doubt, this is one of the most beautiful and memorable hotels we have experienced in Costa Rica. Highly recommended for couples looking for a luxurious and romantic getaway.
Hotel Villa Caletas is absolutely stunning, hands down one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed in Costa Rica. The ocean views are unreal, the sunsets from the amphitheater are straight out of a movie, and the entire property has such a unique, romantic charm. The food and service were amazing and made the experience even better. Just a heads up, there are some very steep walks between the rooms, restaurant, and amphitheater, so you will definitely get your steps in. They do offer shuttle service, which helps a lot. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience. Beautiful, memorable, and so worth it! 🌅
We went for dinner only. We drove there, a very short drive from Jaco. The reception area sets the tone. It’s very impressive, a beautiful, opulent hotel. The stairs up lead you through a thick and lush garden as you make your way to the mountain top dining area. The views are spectacular and panoramic. The service and food quality are high end. Pricing was reasonable for a venue of this quality. I highly recommend visiting this hotel. I checked the room rates and I plan on staying when we return. All in all, a wonder sum experience and I will return and visit for longer.
Bit of a drive up a narrow lane but no different to many roads in Costa Rica! Check-in nice and easy. Very friendly staff. We had a double room with a balcony, was expecting a garden view and got paradise! We considered not leaving the room but lots to explore. As others have said the pool is amazing. Such a nice space, and shady just before sunset, to enjoy yet another stunning view out to sea. Cocktails as the sunset were lovely, albeit quite a few people visit the hotel for the sunset so it gets busy. Plenty of room to sit around the amphitheater though so everyone gets a view. Great food, choice was nice and interesting. Overall wonderful experience-thank you!
