Would never recommend. Cannot understand the ratings. Hard to describe something positive. This is my first review that is this negative in maybe 20 bookings. This may once have been a 3* star hotel. Not anymore. We booked and paid for two nights in the deluxe room but left after one. Why? (I) The room was dirty (hairs and filth on the floors – see photos), (II) the shower didn’t work properly, (III) the view – which was for us the selling point – was obstructed and thus almost non-existent (see photos). You look against a roof and wall. A real shame. (IV) I had to clean the pool myself before our son could swim. This was once a decent hotel, I think. Long story short: would never recommend. We didn’t even stay for the included breakfast. Worst of all, on the first day when I told the receptionist that we would only stay one night, the first thing he said was not a question asking why or if something was wrong, but: “you booked via booking and you can’t cancel.” I didn’t want to cancel or get my money back. He didn’t ask anything. In the end, you win some, you lose some with accommodations — and this was a really bad one.

A hotel in Costa Rica with a heated pool (very comfortable tempurature, not hot and not cold) and a jacuzzi as hot as you want it with an awesome view! The rooms are basic but comfortable and everyone here is very nice and helpful. There should be places added in the bathroom to hang towels, and in the room to hang clothes. The breakfast was good enough. While they don't really provide ither food, they sell drinks and snacks and have restaurant recomendations where they help the deliveries enter the property so the delivery is made directly to your room.
