We went for an early dinner and ordered veggie food. Pizza was awesome but the burger was semi cooked and the Buddha bowl was okay. Bench for sitting are old and even with youth weight they were bending a bit. Felt they may break under150lbs+ adult load, and the Service and the atmosphere was okay.
Spent nearly 4 hours here eating, drinking, playing games, and watching live music. Had the pleasure of a two piece reggae band, wonderful service from the lovely young lady, and a nice surprise at how small the bill was. Between two of us we had 4 cocktails (happy hour), two main meals, 2 beers, 2 rums at 12 year old and a rum at 4 year old, the bill ended up about 25% less than we expected at £60, with no hidden charges or additions. Kudos to the chef, the food was well cooked and very very tasty. Big thanks to the lady with the lovely smile who was our server, you made us feel very welcome. Whoever made the house hot sauce is a chilli wizard and needs to get those bottles up for sale! 5*, much better than anywhere else in town we visited during our 5 days in la fortuna. We would have gone again on our last night but we didnt get out till too late and had to go to 'cava restaurant' just down the road, which was overly expensive, had a misleading menu, and tried adding an extra dish to our bill. Cannot reccomend la fortuna pub enough, total powerhouse of a place, delicious, affordable, friendly, amazing atmosphere.
Surprisingly great pizza, both vegan and real cheese! The atmosphere was a bit too loud especially with the giant jenga, but we really wanted pizza and didn't see any other vegan pizza joints.
Loved the drinks and atmosphere here, but sadly the food was completely favorless. We got the guac and jalapeño poppers and they were so bland. Great happy hour though for BOGO mojitos, and a few other drinks from 5-7pm
We drove by on our way to our hotel and thought it looked cute from the outside, so that is what had us eat here. Besides that, the kids enjoyed their food, but the wife had a creamy gnocchi- it was really creamy… probably too creamy. I had a spicy pasta with garlic… the spiciness was a nice kick, but man, I tasted garlic the entire following day. Also, I felt really bloated after eating my food and finishing what was left of the wife’s food. Good atmosphere.
