We absolutely loved our stay here. We took a quick weekend getaway to relax, this hotel is perfect for that. Staff is on sight 24/7, they’re friendly, and very helpful. The location is perfect being directly on a black sand beach with local restaurants nearby. They have excursion offerings, and we even had a massage in our room! Our room was super clean, the balcony allowed us to see the ocean, and no issues with room access. They allowed us to check in one hour early at no charge as well. The pool has warm water, and towels are provided. House keeping came on a regular basis and we had no issues. We would love to stay here again. Please note that it is 4 hours from La Fortuna.
Average room. Gorgeous views of Pacific from their backyard. We got a couples massage in the shade of the palm trees while hearing the ocean. Very cool.
Came here for a portion of our honeymoon - it was absolutely wonderful! The hotel is directly in front of Playa Hermosa, has beautiful sunset views, and a really nice pool. It does not offer breakfast, but there are many restaurants directly next to it where you can get a bite to eat
The suite I stayed in had a wonderful ocean view. If I had a complaint about it, it would be the fact that there is only a single indoor chair. When I explained that I work remotely and requested a chair, the office staff brought one to my room. I appreciated that a lot. The cleaning staff here is unpredictable. We ran out of toilet paper and clean towels, so I put a sign on my door that indicated my desire for housekeeping to come. No one came for two days in a row. I needed to text a manager to get housekeeping to attend to our room. That being said, I had a great time at this hotel and plan to return.
This was our second time staying here because we absolutely adore this place. Right on the beach and walking distance to a few restaurants and a mini super. You can walk down the beach to the left and find a bunch of macaws and green parrots eating on the date palms. We will be back!!Bring a sound machine as the traffic at night can be noisy. The waves crashing at night is peaceful but the trucks can be louder.
