There’s hardly a time during the day when this isn’t a great place to hang out. The food, drinks, and coffee are excellent, and the staff — whether you’re looking to surf, eat, shop, or drink — are all incredibly warm and welcoming humans. I’m surfing regularly after just three months of lessons from here, and my gratitude for Marcos and his team knows no bounds. True gems, all of them. If you’re in Playa Grande, El Beach Club has it all.
We stayed in a rental just a few houses away from El Beach club. Great place to grab a coffee or smoothie in the morning, great lunch options from the food truck and oasis. Little market for last minute items. Surf shop staff is friendly and helpful, great rates. Live music a few of the nights.
We stayed for the week in playa grande-- found ourselves coming to the beach club throughout our stay. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails were all great. We also enjoyed the market night. Very friendly staff all around
