You should have a sunset dinner at Uma at least once while in Santa Teresa. The atmosphere is so special: I had to hold back a small tear of gratitude for the privilege of being in such a beautiful place as I watched the sun go down with a glass of wine in hand. In the background, there was beautiful music and the sound of the waves – truly magical. That’s why I recommend making a reservation by 5 pm at the latest so you can fully enjoy the stunning sunset atmosphere. The food was also very good, and our waiter was incredibly kind. It’s a 12/10 and was our most special evening in Costa Rica.
Uma Santa Teresa absolutely exceeded our expectations. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was beautiful, relaxed, and perfectly matched the vibe of Santa Teresa, but what truly made the experience unforgettable was the service. Our waiter, Camilo, was exceptional. Attentive without being overbearing, incredibly friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great time. He gave great recommendations, checked in at all the right moments, and made us feel completely taken care of throughout the night. The food and drinks were fantastic, but Camilo’s service is what really set this place apart. You can tell he takes pride in what he does, and it made all the difference. Highly recommend Uma Santa Teresa. We’ll definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.
Wonderful experience. Food to Die for. Had chicken shawarma and chicken kebobs, cooked to perfection. Serene setting, listening to the waves crash music low and lights set low, a very quiet setting to enjoy a great dinner. Amazing Staff Thanks for a great evening
Wow!!! This is the place to go in Santa Teresa! I absolutely love UMA. I’ve been here almost every day, and it’s always just as amazing. The people who work here are incredibly kind, friendly, and welcoming. Everyone is so enthusiastic and helpful, which makes the experience even better. This is the absolute best place to Watch the Sunset, tan in the day, eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, and party on sunday night! It really has it all. If you are going Swimming during the day, they har a shower where you can shower off the want wich is really practicall. All their chairs are super comfertable and the smoothies here are the absolute best! There is also a guy here calls Pepe which sells the nicest jewelry you can find in Santa Teresa and everything is hand made and super cheap! Also there is a waiter called ozkar which is the best! So nice and kind!! The vibe and atmosphere here are absolutely amazing, and they often have live music, which makes the sunsets even more magical. I love this place and will miss it so much. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Santa Teresa!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Uma Beach Club Restaurant was an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely beautiful with stunning ocean views and a relaxing beach atmosphere. It’s the perfect place to enjoy great food while watching the sunset. The food was excellent — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and the cocktails were just as impressive. You can really tell the kitchen uses high-quality ingredients. The service was also outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome the entire time. If you’re in the area, Uma Beach Club is a must-visit. Great food, great drinks, incredible views, and an unforgettable vibe. We’ll definitely be back! 🌅🍹🌊
