Description

On this tour you will visit 2 of the 4 archaeological sites with stone spheres, among them are: 1. Finca 6 archaeological site: in this sector there is a small museum with artifacts and exhibitions. This sector is the only place that preserves stone spheres in their original place (IN SITU). 2. Batambal archaeological site: it is a small place that has a beautiful view of the entire Diquís valley, which is currently known as the Palmar district; In addition, the Térraba-Sierpe Wetland and the Pacific Ocean can be observed. Here we can see a table and some stone spheres. Additionally, during the tour there is a stop at the Palmar Sur public park and the old Railway 84, which was used by the Banana Company during the year 1930 and by the Catholic church. At the end of the tour you can enjoy water, as well as fruits (pineapple and watermelon) or local fruits.
