Experience the thrill of surfing with our 5-star surf lessons in Tamarindo, Costa Rica. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, our expert instructors at SALT (Surf As Life Therapy) will guide you through every step. We prioritize safety, surf skills, and mindset to ensure you feel confident and ready to ride the waves on your own. Your two-hour lesson begins with a 20-minute pre-surf session covering ocean safety, basic surf techniques, etiquette, and the essential mindset for surfing. Following this, you'll head to the water to practice and improve your skills under the watchful eye of our highly skilled instructors. We maintain a low surfer-to-instructor ratio to ensure quality instruction and more opportunities to catch waves. Our lessons are scheduled during optimal tides and conditions at the best section of Tamarindo Beach, ensuring you have the best possible experience. Children aged 7 and under receive private lessons for enhanced safety. By the end of your session, you'll not only have learned to surf but also gained valuable life lessons on how to dance with the ocean and go with the flow. The activity concludes back at the meeting point, leaving you perfectly positioned to continue exploring the beautiful surroundings of Tamarindo.
