Golfo Dulce Tour – Whale and Dolphin Marine Sanctuary Embark on an unforgettable experience in Golfo Dulce, one of the few tropical fjords in the world. Its calm waters, with no big waves and very similar to a lake, make it a safe and perfect place to enjoy a boat ride and swim surrounded by nature. This gulf is known as the only marine sanctuary for humpback whales in Latin America, where they come to breed and raise their calves every year from July to October. You can also spot resident dolphins like bottlenose and spotted dolphins, which often accompany the boats with their jumps and games. During the tour, it's also common to spot sea turtles, water birds, and mangroves, an essential ecosystem in the region. To top off the adventure, we'll stop to swim and snorkel in crystal-clear waters. Snorkeling gear is included, so you can fully enjoy the underwater world and the natural beauty of this hidden gem of Costa Rica.
