Description

Wildlife and Corcovado Observation Tour – Full Day Departure: 6:00 a.m. from Puerto Jiménez in a 4x4 vehicle, accompanied by a local guide certified by ACOSA (Osa Conservation Area). Tour description: Experience a full day of leisurely adventure on the incredible Osa Peninsula. This tour combines wildlife watching with a guided hike at La Leona Station, located on the edge of Corcovado National Park, one of the most biodiverse places on the planet. We'll travel on Route 245 from Puerto Jiménez to Matapalo in a 4x4 vehicle, which is essential for this type of road. On the way, you'll enjoy rural landscapes, tropical forests, and views of the Pacific Ocean. Our group is small, with a maximum of 8 people, which guarantees a personalized experience and a more authentic contact with nature. The schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to the group's pace and the day's conditions. What you'll see: During the tour, you'll have the chance to see: The four species of monkeys in Costa Rica: Spider Monkey, Howler Monkey, White-Faced Monkey, and Squirrel Monkey. Sloths, anteaters, toucans, scarlet macaws, and a wide variety of tropical birds. Hopefully, we could even spot felines like the puma or the ocelot. Lunch and a break: After visiting Corcovado, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch around 2:00 p.m. at Rancho Piro, a beautiful place surrounded by nature where complimentary coffee is also offered before heading back to Puerto Jiménez.
