The Monteverde Wildlife Refuge is a 55-acre protected area located on the Pacific slope of the Tilarán mountain range. This premontane forest is one of the most important in the area, making it the ideal place to observe and learn about the nocturnal wildlife. See the nocturnal wildlife that differs greatly from what can be seen during the day. Spot sloths, frogs, snakes, and insects, and observe sleeping birds.Includes
