Your experience begins with hotel pick-up or a designated meeting point at 7:40 AM for the morning tour, followed by transportation to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. Once inside the reserve, you will start a guided daytime walk along misty trails surrounded by towering trees, hanging plants, and the unique atmosphere of the cloud forest. Accompanied by a certified naturalist guide, you will learn about the ecosystem, endemic species, and the adaptations that allow wildlife to thrive in this environment. Your guide will help you spot birds, small mammals, and other daytime-active species while sharing fascinating insights about the forest. After the morning tour, you will be returned to your hotel. In the evening, you will be picked up again at 5:40 PM to enjoy a guided night walk, when the forest completely transforms. Using the included equipment and guided by expert knowledge, you will search for nocturnal wildlife such as frogs, insects, reptiles, and mammals that are rarely seen during the day.
