Description

This PADI program is meant for people that never dove before and just want to try for the first time, but not ready to commit to the full certification course. Our experienced PADI instructors will ensure you an unforgettable experience. We like to keep our groups small and our service personal, putting your safety as our main priority. We meet at 06.00am at the diveshop in Tamarindo. From there we go to the pool, where we give you a short theory introduction, put on all the gear and jump in the pool. There, we perform basic exercises that will allow you to feel more confident in the water. After that, we go to the beach and board the boat that will take us to Catalinas Islands on a 40 minutes ride. There, we perform 2 dives, always with an instructor and to a maximum depth of 12m/40ft. We are usually back at around 12.30pm. The Catalinas Islands are an archipelago of islands that offer around 20 different dive spots suited for all levels of divers. We can spot reef sharks, different kinds of rays (including manta rays, best time of the year January to March), turtles, as well as a big variety of fish, octopuses, and nudibranch.
