Description

Meet your guide at one of the three meeting points: Marina Flamingo, next to Reparito House in Potrero, or in Plaza Danta (in front of the Santarena Hotel). Then, head to one of the following 3 lesser-known beaches: Hidden-Flamingo Beach, North Penca Beach, or Dantita Beach. Get your snorkeling gear and floating devices, ensuring a comfortable and safe experience for guests of ages 8+. Then, follow your experienced guide to the best spots, explore shallow rocks, and learn about the most common marine species found in this region. As you explore, your guide will be available to provide assistance, answer questions, and highlight interesting underwater life. Learn about the rock formations, geological history of the area, interesting information about the local ecosystems and human impact, and get answers to questions related to the activity and area you visit. To wrap up this coastal adventure, enjoy a serving of seasonal tropical fruit before heading back to your room.

Important Information

  • A minimum of 2 participants is required for the tour to operate. Tour start times vary daily based on ocean conditions such as tides, wind, and visibility. The tour does not always start at 8:00 a.m. We review ocean conditions the day before the tour and will confirm your exact meeting point and start time, which will be one of the three locations previously mentioned. Start times may fall anytime between 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. This is a shared tour unless upgraded to a private experience. A private tour upgrade is available for $100 + IVA per group. Round-trip transportation can be arranged at an additional cost when requested or booked in advance.
