Description

If you’ve always wanted to explore the underwater world, the Open Water Diver Course is your gateway to becoming a certified scuba diver. This internationally recognized certification allows you to dive independently in open water up to 60 feet (18 meters). No prior diving experience is required—just a basic ability to swim and a minimum age of 10 years. What You’ll Experience – Step by Step: 1. Theory Sessions Your journey begins with engaging theory classes online (At least a week in advanced you will need to start the theory. You’ll learn the basic principles of scuba diving—how pressure affects your body, how the gear works, safety procedures, and the importance of protecting the marine environment. These lessons are interactive, easy to follow, and tailored to your learning pace. 2. Confined Water Practice Next, you’ll move to a pool or confined water area to practice essential skills in a calm, controlled setting. Guided by a certified instructor, you’ll learn how to set up your gear, manage your buoyancy, clear your mask, and breathe comfortably underwater. This hands-on training builds the confidence and ability you need before heading into open water. 3. Open Water Dives The real excitement begins as you apply your skills in the open ocean. Over the course of at least four dives, you’ll explore the calm, warm waters of Golfo Dulce, where you’ll put your training into practice. Dive among colorful reefs, observe marine life like parrotfish, rays, and starfish, and feel the incredible sense of weightlessness that only scuba can offer—all under the direct supervision of your instructor. Each dive increases your comfort and skill, helping you become a safe and capable diver. The schedule can be flexible, usually 3 half days, depending on your pace and local conditions. 4. Certification After successfully completing all academic, confined water, and open water requirements, you’ll earn your Open Water Diver certification—valid for life and recognized worldwide.
