Follow a two-mile hike on a family-friendly concrete trail through dense jungle in search of wildlife and savor views of the Arenal Volcano from a new perspective. Along the trail, pass over 15 bridges ranging in length from 16 to 328 feet (5 to 100 meters) and up to 180 feet (55 meters) in height. With such different altitudes from ground level to treetop, encounter a wide variety of flora and fauna. Keep your eyes peeled for small insects, camouflaged birds, snakes, and mammals at ground level, and colorful birds, monkeys, and sloths hidden in the forest canopy.
