Description

The start time is at our office at 6:30 a.m. Once you arrive at our office, you'll enjoy a coffee and cookies that we'll provide while you wait for the group to be complete. Once the whole group is together, you can follow us in your car to the parking lot (included in the price) or we'll take you in our cars if you don't have one. The parking lot is near the entrance to the Marino Ballena National Park, where you'll board the boat. The boat ride to Corcovado, San Pedrillo station, is about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the San Pedrillo station, the guide will give you safety instructions for the trails. The hike can be either two short hikes with a break in between, or one long hike. The total duration is between 2 and 3 hours, with a medium/low difficulty level. During the hike, you'll have the joy of observing large mammals like tapirs, pumas, and monkeys, as well as various species of reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, and a wealth of flora, all thanks to the diverse forest ecosystems that fill this park with green. Once the hike is over, enjoy a delicious typical Costa Rican lunch, giving you some time to rest before finishing your visit to Corcovado and taking the boat back to the starting point.
