Embark on a self-guided expedition along charming forest trails, a roughly 30-minute trek, to reach this awe-inspiring waterfall. Along the way, bask in the captivating beauty of the dry tropical forest landscape and observe the diverse wildlife that may cross your path. You'll have ample time to unwind and savor the waterfall before your leisurely return to the hotel. Nestled within the enveloping embrace of a lush dry tropical forest, the Río Negro Hot Springs await, offering a serene and picturesque retreat. The river's crystal-clear waters flow in close proximity to the 10 pools thoughtfully constructed along the riverbank. These pools are filled with mineral-rich thermal waters, naturally heated from the depths of the volcano. Access to the hot springs is facilitated by two suspension bridges that connect both sides of the river. The hot springs experience is further enriched with the availability of tempered volcanic mud, allowing for a rejuvenating full-body 'mud mask' treatment. Once the mud has dried, you can cleanse yourself in the refreshing waters of the river before re-entering the soothing hot springs. Convenient amenities, including changing rooms, restrooms, and lockers, are available at the hot springs' entrance.
