Meet your instructor at the parking lot next to the restaurant “El Vaquero” in Tamarindo. Look for the purple flag that says “La Muda” or ask the parking attendant for “La Muda Surf.” If you have trouble finding the meeting point, ask for La Muda Surf, Carlos Brown or Isabella Carrera. Begin your lesson with a safety briefing and learn the basics of surfing. Get tips on how to stand up and catch your first wave. If you’re an intermediate surfer, improve your skills with guidance from a professional surfer. Enjoy the gentle waves of Tamarindo, one of the best surf spots for beginners.
