The hotel is a separate, motel-like building next to the nicer looking “Puerto Azul Residences.” Very dated; don’t expect much. There is a guarded gate at the entry. There was no apparent front desk so the guard helped us find the room.
Very comfortable. Our stay was pleasant, workers were friendly. Just beware of the birds at breakfast😱. Breakfast was good. Pura vida
The website is deceptive. The hotel is a low, 2 story building not a high rise. The room was very minimal. No mini fridge, as was promised, and also no cups or glasses, no laundry bags, no tissues, no pictures on the walls, no hot water in the bathroom sink! The band was noisy, though it did stop at 10 pm. The staff didn't speak much English, but tried to be helpful. The beds were comfortable. But overall, Id say this was a 2 star hotel, not a 4 star.
