This is a typical case of something that looks too good to be true. The location is beautiful, the modern wooden cabins are lovely, the outdoor bathroom is a great idea, and the whole place promises peace and tranquility. The food was delicious, and the staff were kind and friendly. Unfortunately, the experience quickly became disappointing. On two separate occasions, there was no running water at all. We couldn't flush the toilet, and we couldn't use the beautiful outdoor shower. After returning in the evening, we were unable to wash off the dust and dirt from the day because there was simply no water. We even had to leave the toilet unflushed for hours. It was extremely frustrating and completely ruined the experience. The internet connection was almost non-existent. Normally, I wouldn't mind this in such a remote location, as I wasn't there to spend time online. However, we needed WhatsApp to communicate about our planned activities, and without a reliable connection, even that became difficult. Finally, the path leading to the cabin was a real cardio workout. This should be clearly mentioned in the booking description, as it would be nearly impossible for guests with limited mobility to reach the accommodation. The place has amazing potential, but basic necessities such as a reliable water supply and accurate information about accessibility should not be overlooked.

No privacy: open bathroom mean OPEN, anyone and everyone can see you from all over the hotel, even inside the room you get no curtains in the kitchen which is directly Infront of the bed. NO seating: with an equipped kitchen you have nowhere to eat, no chair, no dinning area, nothing, just the bed. Pretty hidden beach after a 18 min walk, worth it. Restaurant: very normal taste, drinks are the highlight for sure.

What a wonderful place to relax and lose yourself in nature. Our cabin had amazing views, felt very private and the outdoor bathroom turned out to be quite an enjoyable experience. The kitchen had everything we needed (the blender was amazing for making smoothies) and the king bed was very comfortable. I recommend you pick up any groceries or wine before arriving at the resort as it is 20-30 min from town. The pool was beautiful, we were amazed at all the nature around us (howler monkeys, Iguana, parakeets, and so many different birds)! It is a steep climb you the cabins but not far to go and worth the views. Andrea was very welcoming, helpful and attentive (thank you for helping us book the ferry). The food at the restaurant was good and the views are amazing. We stayed 4 nights and absolutely loved our time there!

Loved this resort. On the beach and in the jungle at the same time. The hosts, Andrea and Luis, were very friendly and helpful and knew us by name. They organized tours for us with locals that were private and personal. The Chef, Georges, was amazing and happily cooked the fish we caught. The masseuse, Laura, gave two of the best massages I have ever had. The bathrooms. While they had walls, hadonly partial roofs adding to the uniqueness of the bungalows. Before our two weeks were up we had booked in for 2 more weeks in February. Can't wait to come back.

This place is even nicer than it looks. So peaceful and beautiful and romantic. The cabins are a great, thoughtful design and well built with everything you could want. The pool area, common building and property are gorgeous. Then add amazing food. Wow.
