A truly relaxing place with a lovely pool view and the joy of spotting red macaws. The standard is excellent, and everything feels well cared for. The hostess is wonderfully helpful, always cheerful, and her sweet little sewing shop adds a charming touch. Highly recommended and one of the best stays after one month of Costa Rica!
Totally incredible stay at Finca Quietud, 100% recommend. Marie was the most hospitable host ever, she made us such an amazing breakfast every morning, with homemade yogurt, lovely fruits, homemade jams, crepes, tasty breads and eggs, alongside delicious smoothies! The pool was heavenly, looking out across the horizon, with lots of birds to look at, and macaws and parrots often flying over in their pairs. It was great to spot birds by the pool early in the morning too, we saw squirrel cuckoos, anis and caracaras in the trees nearby the pool, then in the surrounding property and the road outside we saw a Jaguarrundi(!), a black headed trogon and several motmots - a wildlife and birders paradise! The room was lovely and modern, with every home comfort needed, we really really loved our stay at Finca Quietud and would love to come back one day.
Marie was so welcoming. The room and the pool were lovely. The breakfast was all homemade and very enjoyable. Marie makes sure everything is to your liking. The only negative is the access which is a bumpy dirt road. A 4WD is preferrable.
