From the moment I stepped into the garden, I was truly amazed. Paul, one of the owners, has created a wonderfully cosy green space filled with charm and character. Every corner was thoughtfully designed, with unique decorations and ornaments that clearly reflect care and love. I also absolutely loved the artwork in the room—it added such a special and personal touch to the stay. Michael, the other owner, personally welcomed us with genuine warmth, and throughout our visit, both he and Paul went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Their hospitality was exceptional. They provided us with great tips for excursions, as well as helpful advice for our next trip within Colombia, which we really appreciated. We also had the pleasure of meeting other fantastic guests, adding to the warm and friendly atmosphere. The whole place feels incredibly homey, intimate, and welcoming—like a hidden gem. One of the most memorable experiences was having breakfast in the garden while watching squirrel monkeys, parrots, and camellias around us. It felt truly unique and magical. I loved every moment of our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend this place to my friends. I will definitely be coming back again.
I had such a wonderful stay at this hotel in Manuel Antonio. The place is beautiful, the garden looks gorgeous and has a lovely pool that makes the atmosphere very relaxing. The breakfast was amazing every morning and really added to the experience. The owners, Mike and Paul, are incredibly kind and welcoming people who make you feel right at home. You can tell they truly care about their guests. I absolutely loved staying here, had a great time, and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio. I would happily come back again.
Fantastic place, a hidden paradise very close to Quepos and Manuel Antonio NP. Mike was super nice and helped us a lot with finding tours, restaurants, activities. We also very much enjoyed the pool and the delicious breakfast.
Honestly such a brilliant find. Hosts Mike & Paul work hard to make sure you have a lovely time. Loved staying there - even booked a couple extra nights.
Coyaba Tropical Guesthouse is a gem—comfortable, tastefully decorated, and perfectly located between Manuel Antonio and Quepos. Rooms and facilities are remarkably clean. Hosts Mike and Paul couldn’t be more caring while staying discreet. A few days here, splitting time between the beach and pool, the National Park, and other activities, just feels right—and the nearby dining options hit the spot even in low season. Peaceful, convenient, and genuinely welcoming. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
