I cannot say how much we appreciated our time at this restaurant ! We were 19, and had a wonderful time being there ! The sunset was beautiful and some of us took wonderful pictures with our families 🤩 Smaller kids played handheld games while teens were playing soccer table , and we could all enjoy as parents a little drink ! Everyone in the staff was sooooooo nice to us and it felt like home ! Food was excellent. Service was way more than awesome 👏 They offered little marshmallows to the kids and teens by the fireplace and THEY LOVED IT 🥰
Great location, nice establishment…but the prices can be shocking, and borderline excessive. My daughter ordered a cheeseburger which was somewhere in the vicinity of $13.50 / 6000 colones. She asked for some mushrooms, a slice of cheese and a side of ranch. My first issue is that she requested that they leave 2-3 items behind, things that she didn’t want on the burger and asked if she could have other things substituted. The answer was a quick no, without even asking what she wanted to substitute..? While I certainly don’t expect anything for free, but charging a customer half the price of the whole plate for one slice of cheese and a couple pieces of mushroom is absolutely outrageous. Literally, a 6000 cologne burger with fries was reasonable…but 1000 colones for a single slice of cheese, 2000 colonies for a few slices of mushroom, and another 600 colonies for a small side of ranch…is wild! Especially when the prices aren’t outlined and no mention of the outrageous up charges. Unreasonable charges aside…my seafood stew was marginal at best. It looked nothing like the picture on the menu, and almost all of my seafood was overcooked and tough to chew.
Amazing food and wonderful staff, so friendly and helpful. Bilingual. Best Burger in town. The plantain tower is an absolute must! The seafood pasta, with white sauce, is the best pasta I’ve ever had… not lemon and not too heavy. We went for lunch and had to go back for dinner as well…
Really good spot with a chill sandbar vibe. We had the plantain tower with shrimp which was delicious, passion fruit smoothies, and burgers that were simple but really hit the spot. They give u a bunch of size options depending on how big an eater you are for the burgers. 🍔 They had sports on and it’s a great place to watch the games if you wanted. Great place to wind down after a day at the beach or the park. Good food, relaxed atmosphere! Would definitely go back.
We stopped at the Agua Azul tonight and they were slammed and for our group of six the wait was going to be 45 minutes. The owner addressed us and apologized, but suggested we go to his other restaurant “Quepoa” and offered to give us a ride. Since we had a car we headed over. Personally it’s a better location, better parking and ambience. We were all pleasantly impressed with our meals as we all sampled each others meals they were all delicious. Servers were informative in helping us make our selection. This restaurant is kind of set up as a sports bar but has plenty of dining with a great atmosphere. Probably my favorite meal during our stay here in Costa Rica! Pura Vida
